In 2020 Golden City Council passed Ordinance 2145, banning food trucks, which affected GCB and several other local breweries and other businesses without warning, and without knowing whom the ordinance was going to affect.  Hopefully in the future City Council and City Staff will do accurate due-diligence before passing ordinances.

Colorado House representative Manny Rutinel has introduced HOUSE BILL 25-1295, which aims to help food trucks by requiring licenses from one municipality be accepted in all of Colorado.  We know this would greatly help all the food trucks, especially the ones struggling since the Golden Food Truck Ban.  If you are a concerned citizen or a food truck owner/staff there is still time to get your story heard.  Send an email to manny.rutinel.house@coleg.gov.  I did, and got a lovely response.
