OUR BREW HiSTORY:
In 1993 Golden City Brewery began offering a couple craft brews- the very first offered was the Legendary Red Ale- a German style alt bier. The list was soon expanded to include a Pale Ale (Clear Creek Gold), an English Style Brown (Mad Molly's Brown), and an Oatmeal Stout (Lookout Stout).
Since that time, the popularity of beer styles has ebbed and flowed, and we are proud to offer a wide range of beer styles today. GCB recently purchased a couple new fermenting and serving tanks and added more taps- we are proud to say our selection is better than ever!
You can find several beer styles in our taproom today. These include our Legendary Red Ale, Clear Creek Kolsch in winter and Helles in summer, Evolution IPA, Lookout Stout, and our Pink Guava Bomber Sour. We are glad to provide a selection of seasonal varieties and rotating taps. GCB also has wine, hard cider, Holidaily Gluten-Free Blonde and hard seltzer on tap. For the under 21, or those looking for NA options we have a variety in cans, and have just added a new tap for our infamous root beer, NA Kombucha from High Altitude, a dry-hopped sparkling water, mushroom coffee from Steding and Sons, and nitro Cold Brew from Pangea Coffee Roasters.
